The Colorado School of Mines is committed to providing equal access to University courses, programs, and activities for students with a disability. In compliance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Disability Support Services staff works with qualified undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to manage the impact of their disability on learning and living at Mines.

Please note: For new fall semester students, May 1st is the recommended date by which to apply for services. While later requests are reviewed, the early deadline is to ensure the student has completed registration with Disability Support Services and accommodations are in place at the start of the semester. Because the registration process takes time, late requests may result in late facilitation of services.
